WORKING WITH CHILDREN IN NEED OF CARE AND PROTECTION:
Working with women and children issues in Saharsa, Supaul  and Araria district of Bihar we have observed that a majority of children leaves their home due to various reasons from the Koshi region and they either takes Katihar or Samastipur rail route for reaching their destinations. Many of these children also work at Railway Platform where they fall easy prey of sexual/physical and commercial expolitaions.  Keeping these in minds Abhinav Nirman with its own resources have initiated efforts for working with Platform children to prevent them from significant harm. We have been contacting children at Samastipur Junction and provide support either in restoration and referring them to Child Welfare Committee.
